Mold I

I purposefully left a container of skyr to mold in a quarantined and filtered section of my fridge. It was totally up to lab safety standards, I swear. After a month of letting it grow I took a look to see how far it had come. It was stunning, but thinking I could do better, I let it grow for another month.

The beautiful forests of stalks all withered. The rhizoids, sparse and shriveled. Shown here is the shameful remains of a once thriving landscape.
